ELLIE GOLUBOFF-SCHRAGGER

Ellie is a sophomore from Charlottesville, Virginia studying Political History and Legal Studies. She is interested in working in politics and going to law school after graduation. She is passionate about women's reproductive rights, voting rights, and affordable housing. As President she is so excited to work with the exec board to plan educational and fun events and elect democrats locally and nationally. She is also interested in helping Penn Dems engage with the wider Philadelphia community. Outside of Dems, Ellie is involved in a pre-government society, the Reform Jewish Community, and is a part of the club field hockey team. In her free time she enjoys watching college basketball, playing New York Times games (connections!), and shopping.

NICA SMITH

VICE PRESIDENT | EMAIL

Nica is a sophomore from Branford, Connecticut studying History and Political Science, planning to attend law school. She is passionate about reproductive rights, criminal justice reform, and climate change. As Vice President, Nica is looking forward to working on planning speaker events, mobilizing voters for the 2024 election, and collaborating with the rest of the executive board. Outside of Penn Dems, Nica enjoys Penn Model Congress, Moot Court, POLIS, ILMUNC, the beach, drinking tea, taking walks, and listening to Miley Cyrus.

LUCAS EISEN

Lucas is a sophomore in the College studying Political Science with a minor in Survey Research and Data Analytics from Wilmette, Illinois, outside of Chicago. He is passionate about gun control, climate change, and LGBTQ+ rights. This year, he’s looking forward to electing left-leaning candidates up and down the ballot across the nation and getting students out to vote! In his free time, he enjoys watching TV and movies, fashion, skiing, baking and cooking, and spending time with friends.

DECLAN BRADY

Declan Brady is a sophomore from Long Island, New York studying Politics, Philosophy, & Economics (PPE). He is passionate about voting rights, climate issues, and education reform. As the 2024 election approaches, Declan is excited to partner with local advocacy groups and plan events about the consequential policy matters at stake in this cycle. Further, he hopes to foster constructive discussions within this organization. Outside of Dems, Declan loves running, scrolling on Twitter, playing spikeball, and watching tennis.

CAMILLE LEGNANI

Camille is a sophomore from Connecticut studying Political Science with a concentration in American politics, planning to attend law school after graduation. She is passionate about gun control, educational equity, and protecting reproductive rights. As membership director of Dems, she aspires to foster a welcoming, close-knit, and inclusive community through various social events. Outside of Dems, Camille enjoys cooking, pilates, and watching UConn Basketball.

STEVE YANG

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR | EMAIL

Steve is a freshman from New York City studying international relations and economics; he is also interested in pursuing law school. He loves exploring the intricacies of global politics and Cold War history. As Communications Director, Steve looks forward to leading messaging efforts to expand student voter awareness and participation in such a pivotal election year. His top issues include gun control, reproductive rights, voting rights, and healthcare. Outside of politics, he is passionate about aviation, opera, and classical music, as well as enjoys the TV shows Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and Succession and regularly follows professional tennis and soccer.

SELMA ULM

DIVERSITY AND COALITIONS DIRECTOR | EMAIL

Selma is a sophomore from Cambridge, MA double majoring in History and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a concentration in Globalisation. The main issue she is passionate about is reducing the over-policing of children in schools and brutality on the streets. As DEI Director she is so excited to work to build coalitions with culturally safe spaces on campus, registering and exciting marginalized communities to vote, and creating healing events for Dems members to discuss issues that pertain to our identities. Outside of Dems, Selma does research on human rights abuses on construction sites in the Middle East, is a member of Penn Arab Society, and recently completed an internship at the National Constitution Center. In her free time she enjoys tiktok, swimming, and making tea/meals for loved ones.

ALEXANDRA KANAN MCPHEE

Alexandra Kanan McPhee is a sophomore studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a double minor in Legal Studies and English. She plans to go to law school concentrating on Intellectual Property and Human Rights law. Her top issues include immigration reform, reproductive rights, voter rights, and climate change. She looks forward to grant research and designing this year's merch. Outside of Dems, she enjoys hiking, developing urban agricultural systems, and cooking.

EUNHO JUNG

Eunho is a sophomore in the College stuyding Political Science with minors in American Public Policy and Legal Studies & History. She is passionate about gun control, reproductive freedom, and foreign policy. Eunho looks forward to mobilizing students on Penn’s campus this coming year to re-elect President Biden and Senator Bob Casey. She has previously interned for Senator Cory Booker and at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. In her free time, Eunho enjoys reading, playing NYT Connections (and losing), and traveling.
