EUNHO JUNG

PRESIDENT | EMAIL

Eunho is a junior from New Jersey studying Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies & History. She is passionate about voter protection, reproductive freedom, and foreign policy. As President, she is looking forward to engaging Democrats on campus, especially during this next year. Eunho also hopes to connect Penn Dems to the wider West Philadelphia community. Outside Dems, Eunho loves cooking, traveling, and listening to The Toast. 

TEJAS BHATIA

VICE PRESIDENT | EMAIL

Tejas is a first-year student from Dallas, Texas studying Political Science on the pre-law track. He is passionate about advocating for gun control, criminal justice, and immigration reform. As Vice President, Tejas looks forward to planning exciting guest speaker events and collaborating with the rest of the executive board to help elect Democrats in the 2025 elections. Outside of politics, Tejas participates in UPMUNC, Moot Court, and the Forum for Legislative Action, and enjoys watching sitcoms, listening to music, and spending time with friends.

AIDAN CARROLL

POLITICAL DIRECTOR | EMAIL

Aidan is a sophomore in the College studying Political Science from Washington, D.C. He is passionate about gun control, housing policy, and public safety. In 2024, Aidan worked on the Angela Alsobrooks U.S. Senate Campaign and for the Maryland Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign. This year, he’s looking forward to energizing the Penn community about our crucial judicial races right here in Pennsylvania. He is also excited to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in New Jersey and Virginia. Aidan also serves as a Committee Person representing the 21st Division in the 27th Ward for the Philadelphia Democratic Party. At Penn, he serves as the Dining, Housing, and Transit Committee Director on the Undergraduate Assembly and as a member of the Student Harm Reduction Coalition, where he volunteers weekly in Kensington. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, especially his favorite soccer teams, D.C. United, Everton, and the USMNT.

DANIELLE KANTER

LEGISLATIVE DIRECTOR | EMAIL

Danielle is a freshman from Connecticut studying economics with a minor in political science, planning to attend law school after graduation. She is passionate about gun control, educational equity, and protecting reproductive rights. As Legislative Director, she is excited to foster constructive discussions with politicians, government officials, and local advocacy groups. Outside of Dems, she enjoys running, hanging out with friends, and spending time on the beach.

MOLLY LANG

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR | EMAIL

Molly is a first-year student from Silver Spring, Maryland studying Political Science and International Relations. She is passionate about reproductive rights, gun control, and foreign policy. As Membership Director, Molly looks forward to promoting Dems around Penn’s campus, planning events with both new and current members, and working to form a strong community of Democrats. Outside of Dems, Molly participates in ILMUNC, the Alexander Hamilton Society, and club swim. In her free time, Molly enjoys reading, listening to music, and exploring downtown Philadelphia.

KAYLA MENGDEN

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR | EMAIL

Kayla is a freshman from New Jersey studying Nursing with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s studies. She is passionate about reproductive rights, health care, and gun control. As communications director, Kayla is excited to establish connections with local news sources and engage all Penn schools to keep students involved during a non-election year. Outside of Dems, Kayla participates in the Student Nurses at Penn Club, SNUGS (special needs undergraduate swim lessons), and the Women’s Center. She loves reading, baking brownies, and traveling. 

ARIANA BERTRAND

DIVERSITY AND COALITIONS DIRECTOR | EMAIL

Ariana is a freshman from the Philadelphia suburbs, double majoring in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Computer Science. She is passionate about addressing issues related to education policy and police brutality. As Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Director, Ariana is eager to collaborate with and build coalitions alongside culturally safe spaces on campus. Her goals include registering and engaging marginalized communities to vote and organizing events where minorities at Penn can discuss the impact of policies on their lives.

Beyond her involvement with Penn Dems, Ariana conducts research for CHILD USA, serves as a member of the Steering Committee for Undergraduate Education (SCUE), and recently completed an internship at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. In her free time, she enjoys long-distance running, reading, exploring Pinterest, and playing sports.

COLE HANOVER

Cole is a sophomore from Chicago, IL studying English and Cinema Studies. He is most passionate about climate issues, affordable healthcare, and equitable education. As treasurer, Cole is excited about helping foster enthusiasm for raising funds to support progressive causes, as well as revolutionizing the Penn Dems merch. Outside of Dems, Cole enjoys acting, reading comic books, camping, and finding great new places to eat.

SAMARA LAKS

Samara is a freshman from Irvington, New York, studying international relations and history. She is passionate about economic equity, food insecurity, education reform, and reproductive rights. As secretary, Samara is excited to work with the executive board to continue mobilizing students on campus post-election, build relationships with alumni, and coordinate engaging and impactful social justice projects! Outside of Dems, Samara is involved with the Penn Soup Kitchen, International Affairs Association, West Philly Tutoring Project, and Hillel. In her free time, she likes to play the NYT Spelling Bee, bake, and watch West Wing.
