It’s easy! Come to one of our interest meetings on either 8/27 or 8/28 at 8pm in Hunstman room F95 to learn more about the club and how to officially join!

We like to call Penn Dems a “choose your own adventure” club. So there is no attendance requirement to be a member of our deputy board. Because we offer so many different events⁠—ranging from direct voter advocacy to speaker events⁠—you can pick and choose which events you want to go to depending on your schedule and individual interests!

For the nuts and bolts, we typically will hold 2 or 3 events a week that last around an hour each. For a more specific breakdown of our upcoming events, add our google calendar here

We do strongly recommend that Deputy Board members block out every other Wednesday at 8pm to come to our DBMs to keep up to date with what we’ve got in the works!

Our Deputy Board Meetings are every other Wednesday at 8pm! But we hold frequent events throughout the week, such as tabling and speaker series!

Great question! Early in the semester, we offer the opportunity to apply to be a member of our ‘Senior Deputy Board’ where you will work directly with one of the executive board members on their projects. This is a higher commitment than a deputy board member, but also offers more opportunities to get involved with planning Penn Dems’ events.
