Obama taking harder tack against Clinton

Barack Obama’s campaign finally seems to be directing more focus towards the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination, Hillary Clinton, after months of refusing to directly engage her. After new fundraising numbers showed that Clinton had a cash-on-hand advantage of roughly $2.1 million after 3rd quarter numbers were released, the Obama camp rolls out this fundraising strategy to close the gap - a not-so-subtle jab at the senator from New York (image comes from Obama’s website:

In addition, Obama (along with John Edwards) have been criticizing Clinton on foreign policy, arguably the area where she is weakest when it comes to policy. Given that Clinton has continued to widen her national lead over the past couple of months, it was inevitable that the attacks against her record and her words were going to be more direct. But will it help Obama, who is increasingly being seen as the only roadblock between Clinton and the nomination?
