Concert this Wednesday! Progressives for Anne Dicker with Philadelphia Slick and Monster Hands

For those who are around next week, there’s a great event going on downtown March 12th.

Come out to Johnny Brenda’s, get involved with some local Philly politics, and enjoy the music of two of Philly’s up and coming bands this Wednesday. The event is a fund raiser for Anne Dicker, who is running for PA’s 1st district senate seat in this April’s primary election. Anne is a solid progressive Democrat who is running against incumbent Vince Fumo, who was recently federally indicted on over 100 counts. Like Michael Nutter, she is a reform candidate who we need to end the notorious corruption in the city to move Philly forward.

Tickets can be bought here, where you’ll also find more information about Anne and the two bands performing.
