For those of you completely confused about our current healthcare system and the Democrats’ healthcare policies, rest assured; you are not alone. The debate over healthcare (and how to fix it) in our country has become so complicated that many of us do not even know where our Party’s Presidential candidates stand on the issues.

We can all agree that healthcare is an extremely important issue. As many of you will see at our Sicko Seminar tonight (take a look at our Events Calendar for details), 47 million uninsured Americans is simply absurd. This is what our Presidential candidates have proposed for solutions.

Although most of the candidates are very similar on healthcare, the basic difference between Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama’s stances is in their plans’ cost and coverage. Clinton’s plan will cost upwards of $100 billion to implement and will mandate that all Americans have health insurance. Obama’s plan will cost upwards of $50 billion and will mandate that only children be insured.

So that’s our Presidential candidates’ healthcare plans in a nutshell. If you are interested in learning more about our healthcare system, how it is broken, and what can be done to fix it, go to our Sicko Seminar tonight at 5pm in Huntsman G55.
