About

The University of Pennsylvania Democrats is a student-run Democratic organization open to all members of the Penn community – undergraduate and graduate alike. Our mission is to provide a stimulating and enjoyable forum for the discussion of politics and current events, as well as to coordinate internship opportunities with campaigns. Through our actions, we strive to impact politics locally, regionally, and nationally.

Members of Penn Democrats participate in political campaigns, volunteer at local charities, organize on-campus events, such as lectures and rallies, conduct voter registration drives, engage in debates, seek to stimulate discussion through issue-based campaigns. Although we promote progressive politics, we have a great diversity of opinions within our ranks, and welcome you to our meetings no matter what your political beliefs.
